Corrections belong in the evidence record
BYBI corrects material errors transparently and updates conclusions when better evidence changes the record. The purpose is not to hide that a page evolved; it is to show readers what changed, why and when.
Correction threshold
What receives a visible correction
Small typographical fixes may be made silently when they do not alter meaning. Changes that affect understanding, evidence or action receive a public note.
FACTUAL ERROR
A statement is wrong
Names, dates, quotations, figures, source descriptions or other verifiable facts.
MATERIAL OMISSION
Important context is missing
Evidence or qualification that would reasonably change how the reader interprets the claim.
MISLEADING FRAME
The wording overstates the record
Language, denominators or comparisons that create a materially inaccurate impression.
VERDICT CHANGE
New evidence changes the conclusion
A revised assessment, confidence level or decision rule supported by a stronger record.
Correction workflow
How BYBI handles a challenge
Every serious request is checked against the cited evidence and the page’s stated scope.
Public correction log
No material corrections logged
This log will list the date, affected page, nature of the error and action taken. The absence of an entry means no material correction has yet been published—not that a page will never change.

What happens next
